Our Argan Oil is obtained from the seeds of Argania spinosa, a tree endemic to southwest Morocco. It is known to the Berbers living there as the “Tree of Life”. Its specialized gentle cold-pressing process provides a uniquely balanced oil highly concentrated in active compounds; up to 80% unsaturated fatty acids, combined with polyphenols, tocopherols, phenolic acids, and squalene. Its nourishing, soothing, and protecting qualities help maintain skin’s healthy youthful glow.
Hydrolyzed Oats, containing oat protein and oligosaccharides, is naturally derived from whole oats. Hydrolyzed Oats is a proven humectant meaning it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and transfers it to the skin providing deep hydration. Studies have shown that hydrolyzed oats retain significantly more moisture at all humidity’s, gaining up to 50% more moisture at relative low humidity when added moisture is most needed. Creams and lotions incorporating Hydrolyzed Oats promote a soft smooth feeling experience for the skin.
Rice bran oil contains three healthy antioxidants, tocopherol, tocotrienol and oryzanol which are useful in controlling free radicals. A phytosterol unique to this oil helps to moisturize dry skin. It also contains Cinnamic acid, and Lupeol Cinnamate which are known to enhance skin flexibility and health.
